  1. Pre heat oven to 350
  2. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in molasses and egg yolk. Combine the rest of the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface and cut into shapes. Chill cookie in the refrigerator for a few minutes before baking.
  4. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes until firm.
